Kristen Anne Bell (1980) is a popular American singer and actor. The parents of Kristen Bell are Tom Bell and Lorelei Frygier who are both news director on television. Her family was birthed in Huntington Woods Michigan. Kristen is of Polish descent (mother), and German, English and Scottish (father). Kristen was already a skilled entertainer in the early stages. She won her role as Raggedy Ann in 1992 after having attended her first audition. Bell was signed by her mother as an agent at the age of was only 13 years old. Bell was later chosen for the newspaper advertisements and TV commercials. In the same year she began taking private acting lessons. Bell appeared in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998 in a role that was not credited to her. Bell participated in the drama and music club at Shrine Catholic High School. She was the star as Dorothy at her school's performance of The Wizard of Oz. Bell went on to study in musical theater at the highly regarded Tisch School of the Arts located in New York City after graduating. Bell left the university in 2001 to take on the role of Becky in the film Tom Sawyer. That same year, she was in Pootie Tang however, the sequence in which she appeared was cut. As a result, the credit sequence is all that exists. Bell made an appearance alongside Angela Bettis, Liam Neeson and in The Crucible Broadway show The Crucible in 2002.
