
Sara Aliza Eisen is an American TV journalist who is currently associated with CNBC. She serves as the co-anchor on the channel's shows "Squawk On The Street" (Closing Bell) and 'Squawk in the Street' (CNBC). Although she's from Ohio but she didn't have a keen interest in the world of markets or currency during college. While attending New York University she interned for ForexTV.com. This is where she gained her first exposure with business news. She later earned a master's degree in broadcast journalism from Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. The internship was for four months with Bloomberg TV, Hong Kong. She returned to the USA and joined Bloomberg's New York office. She became a TV anchor later. CNBC employed her in December 2013 to be a reporter. After having been a co-anchor of "Worldwide Exchange," and Power Lunch', she was hired by CNBC in December 2013. Then, she was offered the job in the year following Closing Bell in the year 2018. Eisen is the co-anchor of "Squawk on The Street" since 2014. She is one of the most reputable business journalists of the present. Since joining CNBC her main concentration has been on global consumer news.
